We are recreationalists that treasure the Imperial Sand Dunes. We volunteer our time to promote and protect the Glamis Sand Dunes. Some of us spend every free weekend there. Others only get to enjoy the area once or twice a year. All of us consider this an area the opportunity to spend quality time with our family and friends.
There are many ways to appreciate the beautiful desert area while contributing to the betterment of the dunes. First of all, there are monthly organized clean-ups. Check out the Mini Clean-ups link for more information. Secondly, there are major annual clean-ups where thousands of people come out to pitch in.
As word continues to spread, we expect the volunteers to grow. At all of the clean-ups, we hope to educate and to promote to the public and the industry the importance of "pitching in".
